Pre-requirements: Minimum 2,000 hours of work experience, completion of Module II
Masters level clinic designed for experienced clerks to take their knowledge to the next level. Participants will be presented with examples of the most complex and difficult registration scenarios and guided through the process to complete each. In addition, participants are encouraged to bring their own problem deals to be reviewed in a group setting.
Expert panelists, including registration experts, dealership compliance experts as well as representatives from the DMV, will be on hand to answer participant questions and provide insight on advanced DMV topics. Sessions will be conducted in round-table style to promote sharing of best practices among participants and the panel.
Advanced topics will also include proper set up of the Dealer Management System to collect accurate DMV fees, how to conduct registration forensics to determine where fee discrepancies lie, intensive review of the information provided on the DMV file copy, how to resolve issues with DMV field office, as well as advanced compliance topics such as Car Buyer’s Bill of Rights and Information Safeguards.
